Training is a vital part of firefighting. Because we do not respond to calls every day, it is necessary to constantly refresh our skills.

Eastern Pines Fire/Rescue holds drill nights twice a month (1st and 3rd Monday at 1900). First Mondays are devoted normally to apparatus and company level operations, while third Mondays can be classroom or hands-on instruction in any number of topics. Many of out members received certification as FF I/II, TR or HazMat through classes held at Eastern Pines. Eastern Pines' members are also encouraged to attend trainings offered outside of the department, by other agencies.
